A “blog” (noun) is a website or minisite (small site within a website) consisting of entries (called “posts”) typically displayed in reverse chronological order with the newest entries at the top. A blog typically covers a particular topic or industry (politics, health care, autos, food, gardening, home repair, etc…) or is sometimes the thoughts of a particular individual or group (Perez Hilton, Huffington Post, Gizmodo). Blog can be used as both a noun and a verb. To “blog” (verb) is the creation and distribution of that content on the internet. A Vlog, is a blog produced and distributed as video.
